Together we Can & Did make a Difference!

Windsor Lifeline Outreach’s 2009 1st annual City-Wide Food Drive was an awesome success. We want to thank everyone from the donors to the doers for their help.

 

Last year we delivered approximately 46,000 flyers which resulted in over 17,000 pounds of food gathered by our volunteers. Many local food banks and food cupboards benefited from this endeavour.

In October, 2010, we are launching our 2nd annual Food Drive, our goal is to draw enough volunteers to cover 70,000+ homes and exceed last years totals.

Our “Volunteers Needed” flyer is posted on this site. All we ask is that volunteers show up at participating Tim Horton’s stores on the dates and times provided and be prepared to deliver flyers. Whether you come out for the morning, afternoon or for the entire food drive, any help is appreciated.

There will be a banquet with food and prizes after for all the volunteers. Thank you to everyone for last year’s success and thanks in advance for this year’s donations and volunteers.
